Maid Violates Professional Ethics and Walks Into a Prominent, Naked Guest’s Room
The New York Police Department claims that at about 1 p.m. on Saturday, a hotel maid entered a $3,000-a-night suite at the Sofitel near Times Square, believing that it was empty.
Talk about a bad start! She mistakenly entered a room thinking it was empty? This is not supposed to happen in a high-class hotel. Were the sex roles inverted, were a male employee to walk in on a prominent female guest, like Mrs. Hillary Clinton, the male employee would be fired and arrested for sexual harassment. Usually, hotels have a policy to ensure their staff avoid such embarrassments: cleaners are supposed to knock on the door, ring the bell, or yell “room service” when entering rooms.
Strauss-Kahn then emerged naked from the bathroom, and grabbed her, pulled her into the bedroom and threw her on to the bed, before trying to lock the suite’s main door, according to New York Police Dept. Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne, who outlined the charges to reporters. “She fights him off, and then he drags her down the hallway to the bathroom, where he sexually assaults her a second time,” he told Reuters.
Wait, what? A hitherto well behaved, civilized man, suddenly goes crazy? Just because he was naked, he wanted to take advantage of her and rape her?
A man pictured on the covers of magazines, admired by millions of women, who could get any woman he wanted with a snap of his fingers. And this guy, exactly the moment the woman walks in, illegally, incorrectly, grabs her and rapes her?
The maid, 32, finally managed to push Strauss-Kahn away and escape, according to Browne, and her colleagues called 911. Strauss-Kahn had checked out by the time police arrived at the hotel, leaving behind his cell phone.

What are the alternative explanations? Don’t forget that she committed a serious professional lapse, almost a crime. So it is quite likely that she did that for a reason, with intent.
- Many political and economic enemies would pay millions to get Strauss-Kahn out of the way. Is is inconceivable that they would bribe a lowly hotel maid to lodge a phony rape charge against him?
But there is a much more plausible and more parsimonious explanation:
The room maid, in a SERIOUS violation of her professional duties, walked into a client’s room while he was buck naked. Even if that was a honest mistake, it could have serious consequences for her.
- Maybe he became angry and threatened to get her fired (for good reasons). That scared her.
- Maybe she walked in with the intent to steal and was caught.
- Maybe she walked in with the intent to seduce a famous man.
- Maybe she planned to seduce him and was rejected. “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!”
- Maybe she walked in with the intent to seduce a famous man and then blackmail him by threatening to cry rape.
As we’ve learned, time and time again, from The False Rape Society, many women have a knee-jerk reaction to cry “rape” in order to save them from their own problems. Have you noticed that nobody in the media is saying that the maid should be fired for her transgression?

Seriously though, this one does sound a bit suspicious. While I don’t have any trouble imagining wealthy, powerful people acting like shitheels because they know they can buy their way out of anything (see also Paris Hilton, LiLo), the timing seems suspiciously perfect.
Paris Hilton did not get where she is by her own merit. Lindsay Lohan is a good actress and cute, but did not get to where she is for being a good administrator and politician.

There is one thing seriously amiss: the false rape society only reports PROVEN cases of false rape accusations.
They have good reasons, there are more cases proven wrong then they have time to document.

A check of the electronic record indicates that Dominique Strauss-Kahn checked out of the hotel @ 12:28 PM. Accordingly, the news accounts have been changed to say that the maid entered the room around noon instead of 1:00 PM.
Now, maybe she was simply confused when she first said it was 1, or maybe her story HAD to be changed to noon so as to avoid the obvious question about how he could rape her in the room after he had left it.
This one certainly needs to be watched closely.
I would guess that the hotel would have security cameras which could be used to track the maids movements through the hotel so as to verify if she went to the room in question at noon, or at 1 – and, to see when Dominique Strauss-Kahn left the room.
Security camera footage has previously revealed many rape claims to have been falsified. Fro innocent men, the trade-off between the growing invasion of privacy (via security cams) and the ability to be exonerated of crimes might well prove to be a positive one.
Just basing the story on demographics: A “white” man raping a black. Doesn’t happen, statistically.

He could be being set-up, but the sex happened. The alleged victim is allegedly an early 30s hijab wearing African Muslim immigrant, which is hardly the profile of a promiscuous woman. Furthermore I doubt that this woman had any idea who DSK was, as virtually no native born Americans would, much less uneducated African immigrants working as housekeeping.

Prosecutors, however, say they have physical evidence indicating attempted rape, including a doctor’s exam made immediately after the incident.
A grand jury is due to convene this week to decide whether there is enough evidence in the accusations to proceed to trial.
Such proceedings are secret, and the Manhattan District Attorney’s office would not comment on progress.

Those last ones are doing great job here in France but none of them will risk a trial based on a false article. This is why there are absolutely no records on this man. Trust french honnest press (they exist) because they are very often taking huge risks. I am not journalist but can’t let the press be judged like that it is ridiculous. As everybody stated, the ones saying “we all knew”, giving the “it was known” thing are to blame if they didn’t say a word earlier. Pure jerks like in any courties. We are all humans whatever the countries and no, french people does not tolerate rapist. The real ones said nothning because they had no true evidences. It is obvious that they investigated for over ten decades now on this man and no single article until now ?
Besides, if this man was so dangerous, he could have been brought down easily all this years because he is in the opposition.
Why do so many of you keeping forgetting:
1) that he went OUT TO LUNCH before he went to the airport.
2) that he carries something like 9 cell phones.
3) that the hotel called him — not the other way around.
4) that the front door to the suite was either correctly kept OPEN with the cart or against hotel rules CLOSED — and that would have been by the maid when she entered.

Ok, wait. Those reports are emerging only now. The real point is either french press was hiding those facts which would be totally shameful, or simply because they had nothing enough serious on him. He was though never convicted nor condemned.
In any cases, nobody had access to the nypd files so nobody can judge at all what happened. If he is guilty, it is for sure horrible for, first of all, this maid. I guess it is also horrible for him if he is innocent. He is an extremely influent man with tons of ennemies and it is extremely easy to create fake facts. We have to wait and trust the NY justice instead of forcing this justice to take extrmely heavy decisions in the rush.

I know. This case is very puzzling here for sure. If this really happened to Tristane, it teaches us to always go to court whatever the pressure. She did not so we can not tell the exact circumstances. Please note that nobody defend him against Miss Banon, nobody know what happened. She is pretty for sure but even if she was ugly, the facts would still be horrible for her if they really happened.

He then threatens to get her fired for walking in on a guest unexpectedly, unless she performs oral sex on him. He’s a very important person, in a very expensive suite, and what she has done is forbidden! Terrified, she submits to this, then runs away before he can shove a pile of money at her and tell her to keep quiet about it.
Flustered, he rushes out of the apartment, calms himself down, convinces himself she isn’t going to talk anyhow, and rushes to have lunch with his daughter and catch his plane.
They say that after the attack Strauss Kahn left the Sofia hotel in a hurry, leaving his cell phone behind. They were trying to make him look guilty, but they can’t explain why he called the hotel to inform them that he had forgotten his cell phone and they can’t explain why he told the hotel security that he was located at the airport on his way to France. If they try to say that he was scared that his personal information was on his phone and in the room, that is not true because the hotel knows the room was registered to him. If they try to say that he gave the hotel security his location because he tried to look innocent, that is not true because he is a high priced lawyer and he knows the laws of France and he knows he would stand a better chance in France than in the U.S. because France does not have extradition laws. The fact is that he had an important meeting with the German chancellor and he had overslept and missed his flight. If Strauss Kahn would have raped the maid and if he would have been guilty, he would have never called the hotel to ask about his cell phone. He is a smart lawyer and he would have left to France quickly without calling anyone or saying where he was located because France does not have extradition laws and he would be safer there. Another inconsistency in her story is that she made a statement to the police about Strauss Kahn that is definitely not true. She told the police that Strauss Kahn said this: “No, baby. Don’t worry, you’re not going to lose your job. Please, baby, don’t worry.” The word baby in reference to a woman is American street slang not French street slag and Strauss Kahn is a highly educated lawyer and does not speak in that manner. She told the police that she told Strauss Kahn that she didn’t want to lose her job for having sex with him, but that can’t be true because it’s impossible that anyone can find out if the sex occurred in a private room. Her statements are not consistent with true facts. She said she was dragged across the floor, but that can’t be true because Strauss Kahn is old and he does not have the physical build to drag that much weight across a floor. She said she slipped on a news paper bag in the room, but that cant be true because a newspaper bag does not produce enough friction to cause a slip. It’s very odd that Strauss Kahn has never done that to a maid before even though he spent half his life visiting expensive hotels. Why would he have sex with the maid if he was in a hurry to catch his plane flight. It is not out of the realm of possibility that she could have injured herself and put her blood on the bed sheets trying to falsify evidence. The blood would have to belong to Strauss Kahn to look believable and then it’s possible that Strauss Kahn might have cut himself and cleaned himself on the sheets. Strauss Kahn could have masturbated on the sheets and the maid could have found the semen and smeared it on her dress or her private parts. DNA evidence found in the room is not strong evidence because hotel clients constantly leave DNA evidence in their hotel rooms and it is not an uncommon situation. If DNA evidence is found in an alley then the evidence is more credible. They say that a room service employee cleared Strauss-Kahn’s room and found the room empty minutes before the maid entered and investigators say that Strauss-Kahn could have hid from the room service employee weighting for the maid, but the investigators can’t be telling the truth because the service employee would have found luggage in his room or heard the man taking a bath in the shower and the maid was not very attractive to make Strauss Kahn go through all that trouble. Strauss-Kahn is not a mind reader and wouldn’t know if the service employee is the maid or not and he would have come out. It’s possible that Strauss Kahn had sex with the service employee and not the maid and the DNA evidence he left behind was from sex with the service employee. They say that he asked women on dates and that makes him guilty, but that is not true because men that don’t rape women always ask women on dates. Why didn’t she tell a male employee right after the attack, so they could prevent him from leaving the hotel. Why did she weight for him to leave the hotel to report the incident.

I strongly belief that Mister Dominique Strauss-Kahn is the victim of a conspiracy. I have been traveling myself all over the world, and stayed in 5 stars hotels, so I do not write what I think, but what I know. First of all I like to say that I have not read any articles, but only watched CNN. We know that Mister Dominique was going to leave the hotel, and to take a flight? This means that the Hotel knew he was leaving that morning, probably he had paid his Hotel bill the evening before or early morning or the moment he was officially checking out, leaving his key (card) at the front desk. And they would have asked him if he still had used something from the minibar (standard question). Sometimes they check it, so the Hotel knew that Mister Dominique checked out, because they, and security, watch if people do not leave without paying their bill. Most people know this. Now in this case, we are talking about the Head of the IMF, a well known figure, probably he stayed many times before in the same Hotel, a 3,000USD suite, so the management/staff/security know their customers, and are supposed to watch and give service at any time. So, how is it possible that somebody of the staff, a maid, was entering the room, since she must have list of quests of rooms/suites which are leaving, and to be made ready for new hotel guests? So, what was she doing there ALONE? Normally there are two maids or more, working systematically on the same floor. Mister Dominique was naked, maybe surprised himself, he heard somebody enter the room, must have had a short talk, with the maid, but come on now, when she enters the room, she had a key, did she had an instruction to do that, if not she is trespassing, and when you enter a room and you see, personal belongings, you know somebody is in the room, so you direct step back and leave, so see took a time to look around for what? Then she sees somebody coming naked out of a bathroom, so what is the distance between the bathroom and the door, you directly go or not. Another thing is IF she went to the suite without any cleaning material, new bedsheets whatever, they can see that on the security camera, WHY would she go there? She was a maid, from where did she come, did somebody said go there, which room was she cleaning before, and was she alone, or is there a team working on those floors? Talking about rape, impossible because on which floor was the suite? How long does it take to go down, via lobby or not, take a taxi or… If there was NO other maid working that time on the same floor, I suppose NOT because she could have done 2 things, calling directly to security or run outside and go to the room other maids were cleaning rooms. Mister Dominique could never have left the hotel, so after he left she must have organized the room and herself for a FAKE RAPE attack. Probably their were one or two other persons waiting to help her out. Conspiracy! There are still many things to mention, DNA proof is out of the question, I would say if he was arrested within the Hotel OK, but after he left not reliable. We all know that in business (high level) it is drinking, eating and sex, so we do not have to play around the bush, IF Mister Dominique can pay for a 3,000 USD suite, he can pay for escort service as well, discreet and known by the Hotel Management as well. Mister Dominique is NOT guilty, he has played, his political enemies are smiling now, BUT this is only temporary. SHAME ON THE USA AND NEW YORK.
Your logic is ridiculous. DSK, could have checked out of the prior to the maid walkng in. Checking out of a hotel room, does not imply that you leave it immediately. Many persons check out, then go back up to the room, to do last minute errands and plan their itinerary. If you have done that, the hotel may not be aware that you are still in the room. They may send someone in to clean up. That person, may be surprised, especially if no one is in the main entrance to the room, because they are in the bathroom. So the woman’s story, up to that point is completely reasonable. The actual crime, she described, is unusual, but so what, many crimes are unusual. There are crimes, that take place, that involve prominent persons, not previously known by many people to be violent. This happens all the time. So why would a cop think this was impossible? Also DSK, room seemed to have been vacated in a hurry, also many people who are attacked, don’t alert people immediately because of fear or embarrassment, so your timeline is useless here. Finally recent information, does not prove that her allegations are lies, they may show that she is not the virgin mary, but that’s all. She may be a liar or not, we don’t know yet.
Yes, people do check-out before leaving their room since one can do that by phone, internet or interactive TV in many hotels and after doing so a guest many attend to a few last minute details — but that does not usually include stripping down and taking a shower or having sex or anything that might take more than a minute or two as the hotel will immediately start to prepare the room for the next guest!
How do you know? Again, really faulty logic. You don’t know, what happened anymore than I do. DSK, may have taken a shower, for whatever reason, neither you or I know. Therefore saying, that is, most likely what happened or that is most likely what happened, is a fool’s game. Let events unfold, and maybe we will see what really happened. Right now, nobody knows.
It was your logic I was following, David, up to the point that you left logic behind and went off into “we don’t know land”. You probably don’t “know” if evolution happened either. We all know what happened — and what didn’t — except you.

@ Human-Stupidity. I noticed that some people have made allegations that the maid is not a nice person, and knows some other people who are not nice. So what? He made a phone call to the hotel, which proves nothing, he may have assaulted the maid, but felt he could get away with it. He may have felt she was a nobody, so she would never dare report him, if he did assault her.
So what is the risk in making a phone call? His making the call, doesn’t prove either guilt or innocence, it proves exactly nothing.
People get raped orally, vaginally, anally, in all manner of ways, with, or, without, having their teeth intact. She had her teeth, yes. That doesn’t mean she is impervious to rape.
So, I think, everyone, should just let things play out, early on, DSK, possibly looked guilty, now he looks possibly innocent, who knows what’s going to happen next?
The case may not seem as straightforward, but that doesn’t mean it’s crumbling.

No, I will not be joining you in “don’t know land” because I do know and have known from Day 1. It’s only unfortunate for our fellow tax payers and our country’s image that our DA chose to grandstand rather than think.
And David, don’t you read the papers? The case IS over. DSK has been released and allowed to travel. The accuser has been taped telling a boyfriend “DSK has lots of money, I know what I’m doing” — she lied to immigration — lied to social services — lied to the DA. The DA is desperately trying to save some face by dropping the case step by step.
When they ask you “paper or plastic” do you say “let’s just wait and see”?
DSK has been released without bail. The case has not been dropped. You and everyone else who knew his innocence about these events, must surely be his great supporters. I am not, I am completely neutral. I don’t come to conclusions based on positions of power or lack therof, hence, I say wait and see.
BTW the case has not been dropped, he has not been acquitted.

FYI: news today – she puts out for cash regularly, even in the hotel the DA put her in, and she pulled this whole number because DSK thought he was getting a freebie.

@Ayshford How do you know all this? Why don’t you report your findings to the police and the D.A.? Your expert findings could alter this whole case. I’m not as great a detective as you, so I don’t know id what you say is true. I do know that it seems suspicious that all this information is coming out now. Kind of like someone was paid off. It’s just weird. If the woman is a terrible person, DSK, could still be guilty, if she is a prostitute, DSK could still be guilty. DSK’s guilt or innocence have not been established yet. It seems to me that thing you are most upset about is that someone, with DSK’s stature, could actually be arrested on the say so of a lowly maid. Am i right? If I am, I don’t see anything wrong with that. To my mind, everyone is equal under the law. You don’t get immunity from prosecution, because you may have more power than your accuser.
DSK was arrested because someone made a serious accusation against him.
He was arrested on a flight bound for Paris, hence, he was a flight risk.
So he was held without bail, it was being on the plane that caused this.
You may argue that if DSK is innocent, he would legitimately have been on board the plane going about his lawful business anyway.
I would agree, but that is what investigations are for.
The D.A. uses them to assess possible guilt, and to build a case.
These types of cases are difficult, because, evidence of sexual contact, do not currently show the type of contact that occurred. These cases are very much based on circumstantial evidence, and the credibility of the plaintiff and defendant, not the social status of anyone involved.
The person making the accusations seems to have a few skeletons in her closet, this doesn’t mean she lied about this particular incident.
The prosecutor was very honest in making new information known once it was discovered. He was also very proper in following up on a serious allegation.
When/if the DA is satisfied that there is no substance to the accusations DSK, will be released, with a proper apology and I think charges will pressed against his accuser. If however, it is determined that despite her background, the allegations are believable, then there will be a trial and DSK will have his day in court. Just like anyone else accused of a serious crime. I know none of you agree with me, but Ayshford’s supposed wisdom, and intellect are just guesses in my mind. They may be right or not, guesses don’t carry any weight in my opinion. AND finally, I still think it’s weird that all this, info about the maid, is coming to light now, it does look like a cover up to me, financed by DSK. Not that I have anything against him, but this is what happens in the real world.
The thing that makes me doubt, is the professionalism of the D.A., I don’t think he can be bought. So DSK, may soon be free, happy now?
My intellect told me this was a scam the moment I heard the tale but the media gave me the facts that I wrote about recently. Seriously David, do you never read the newspapers? I’d love to claim credit for cracking this case but I’m simply quoting the DA’s office. Perhaps it would seem suspicious that it took several weeks for some of this information to come out but according the the DA’s office quoted in the Times she called her “boyfriend” in jail in Arizona the day after the alleged rape to tell him that DSK is rich and she “knows what she is doing” and it took the DA’s office from then until the day before yesterday to have it translated from her dialect into English. It was also on the cover of the NYPost in classic Post prose that DSK “stiffed” the maid and not getting paid for playing made her cry rape. It was also in the NYTimes that the DA’s office has discovered banks accounts in her name with over $100,000 in deposits made over the past two years believed to be money earned through prostitution. It was also in the Times and the Post that she has lied to immigration and the DA’s office and has changed her story multiple times and the source for that IS the DA’s office. It seems she cleaned DSK’s room and another before reporting the alleged rape. Really you can read 20 stories a month for FREE on the Times online. It’s all there.

DSK, will be set free, charges will be dropped, etc.
That doesn’t change the fact, that none of your arguments for his innocence, have made any sense.
Whatever, the NY D.A. and the NYPD, in my opinion, did a great job from start to finish. They listened to someone who accused someone else of a serious crime, they arrested the person accused, they acted appropriately when the person seemed to have been a flight risk. DSK’s influence, mattered, not a whit to them. And when new information came to light, that damaged the D.A,’s own case, the DA was the one who brought that information forward. So the rights of both parties were protected here. Great job NYPD and NY. D.A.’s office.
How did the NYPD get into this discussion?
The DA’s office deserves no special thanks for doing what is required by law, sharing exculpatory information. (The fact that sometimes they don’t, i.e. the Central Park jogger case and the two cops who “escorted” home the drunken woman, is another issue).
In case you also missed it the head of the sex crimes unit, Lisa Friel, was taken off the DSK case after a shouting match with non sex crimes DA staff. There was not just one way to proceed on this case and the folly of Vance and Alonso’s choices is the shambles we now see.
I don’t recall making arguments for DSK’s innocence per se other than pointing out some facts and a little logic. From the get-go I have said that the whole thing was unlikely and improbable. And it was and it is.
Well, the victim was DSK not that 32 yr old, posing to be a Muslim woman;
and DSK did not screw her – in fact, Nicolas Sarkozy screwed DSK!
I feel, if this kind of stupidity continues,
all men will become “GAY” !!!!!
