LIKE other eight-year-old girls, Britney Campbell loves dancing to Lady GaGa, is fond of fashion and enjoys putting on make-up.
But Britney’s beauty regime goes way beyond playing with Mummy’s lippy.
Once every three months, Britney climbs on a beautician’s table and watches as mum Kerry prepares needles of Botox and fillers to be injected into her face.
Beautician Kerry, 34, from Birmingham, buys the substances online and injects them into her daughter’s forehead, lips and around her eyes.
The beauty-pageant obsessed single mum also takes her to have her body waxed, in a bizarre bid to stop her growing hair when she eventually hits puberty.
Kerry says these shocking and potentially dangerous treatments will guarantee Britney becomes famous as a teenager.

I’m amazed that she’s bothering. That kid could never compete with the younger kids on that god awful pageant show on TLC even with all the crap she’s shoving down on this kid. OTOH, as a (not hot) beautician in Birmingham, I suspect that she’s reasoned that this is the only way she will ever become rich and successful. Even if she did get married, it’s not going to make her famous and rich…
Perhaps “mummy” ought to save up that money and get a personal trainer instead.

How about bleeding ‘excess blood’, trepanning, lead ingestion and other medical crack-pottery? That’s just some of the white/European stuff, what about the binding of feet that destroys the bones, female circumcision performed with chunks of broken glass, stretching the neck with metal coils, or full body burqas that lead to vitamin D (sunlight) deficiencies?
As loony as this woman is, it’s a stretch to point to this one-off as a new phenomenon that heralds the fall of western civilization, and even more of a stretch to lay it at multiculturalism’s feet.

The author appears to believe that this freakshow family is a symptom of civilization (or ‘society’ or whatever) in final collapse. Hence the title “Yes, This is How it Ends”.
He closes by mentioning western countries being destroyed by multiculturalism. The author appears to believe (like many) that multiculturalism is a cancer that has eroded western civilization.
The author’s arguements:
1. Multiculturalism damages society
2. Society is in it’s death throes
The implication is that multiculturalism has been a primary cause of society’s decline, which in turn has caused this freakshow family.
Fine, we’ve made fallacious assumptions that the author believes there is a causal connection between multiculturalism and the freakshow family. But if the author believes that the CAUSE of societal decline (i.e. multiculturalism) is irrelevant to rise of this freakshow family, he shouldn’t have brought it up and muddied the argument.
Perhaps he meant that civilization destruction via multiculturalism is PREFERABLE to whatever forces (none of which are named) has brought us to the End and spawned the freakshow family. The author doesn’t make it very clear, in that case.
Not that the author’s entire closing sentiment makes sense, either: “Sometimes I wonder if Western countries being destroyed [by multiculturalism] is really such a bad thing”.

“Societal decline has led to an 8 year old getting botox. This is so wrong, maybe society SHOULD decline”. Huh? Alternatively, you could read it as “Societal decline has led to an 8 year old getting botox. Maybe societal decline isn’t so bad after all”, which I doubt was what he was trying to say.
If the author wants to strike the last line, and plead writing it at the end of a long day or something, that’s cool, we’ll never speak of it again.
I thinki I can say this plainly here: 8-year olds in beauty pagents getting botox is not western culture, that’s the hebrew-hollywood mentality getting pumped down society’s throat the same way multi-culturalism is.
