A vacation is all I ever wanted

By the time you get this, I’ll be on the road to Ottawa for a short vacation, and my Internet access will be limited during my trip. I’ve got some posts that’ll be going up while I’m gone, but I won’t be able to respond to your witty repartee until I get back. Next week’s LIGFY will also go up as normal, albeit in a slightly truncated form.

If you’ve got questions, concerns, proclamations of undying love (ladies only), or death threats, send ‘em via the contact form. Otherwise, see ya on Monday.

No, I have no idea why that dude is Frenching a wolf, or what relevance it has to the song. One hell of an album though.

I am disappointed in you. Ottawa.. heck Toronto is probably nearer from where you live. Even Montreal is probably a better idea than that place.

Titty bars! Hookers! Good beer!

I love Canada!

You forgot more laid-back attitudes towards weed, Omega Man.

I don’t smoke it but we’ll add that to the list as well.

I’m surprised that he chose Ottawa. It’s a nice, safe city to live in, but it’s downright bland and boring for anything other than a quick weekend with friends and family.

FWIW, Ottawa was the last Canadian city I visited, and strangely one of the reasons I wanted to live in Canada. My cousins live up there, and they’re content with it, and one just feels “different” in Canada…

Have an awesome trip!

Rather be in Ottawa than that festering boil on the buttocks of the world Toronto.

Don’t do it. Don’t move to Canada from the US. Try a 47% Federal/Provincial tax rate, 50% increased cost of goods made in the U.S., and an average house cost of $450,000 in Toronto. I’m moving back to the U.S. as soon as I can.

And Ottawa is great for a weekend, but Montreal, even Toronto are better longer-term destinations.
