The blog gets a theme song?

Reader Mike emailed me a link to this music video by Avenged Sevenfold saying it “fits In Mala Fide all too well.” Does it? Let’s take a look:

(Read the lyrics here.)

Damning criticism of modern society? Check.

Everpresent literary and religious symbolism? Check.

Millenarianism leavened with mirth, delivered in a upbeat manner? Check.

Hot, half-naked chicks all over the place? Triple check.

Yep. I like it.

I am waaaaaay too old for this stuff. Give me some nice lounge music any day.

Something to dim the lights and pour some Laophraig to.

What’s funny is that the haters here think they’re elevating their status by dissing this song. They’d rather pretend to enjoy some faggy crap that no one really likes so they can pretend to be unique and special.

Sorry boys, the vast majority of men love pussy and a tiny minority love cock. That does not make the cock-lovers superior to the pussy-lovers. If you are an irrational hater of pop music, then you are the equivalent of a cock-lover. Those of us who love pussy will continue to ignore your insignificant protestations and you can bitch about that to your cock-loving friends until the end of time for all we care.
