Men aren’t women, so there should be a double standard. Don’t worry, sometimes it works in our favor.

I hate these demotivational posters that don’t do it right. The original demotivational posters parodied motivational posters in a very specific and clever way. I can’t remember where, but I saw a blog comment recently that explained it well. The gist of it was that you’re not supposed to just use the caption to explilcitly state a direct point. Instead, there should be a contrast between the title and caption, which should sound somewhat serious, and the photo, which should undermine it. Kind of like this one:

I understand your point Hermes, but you are fighting a losing battle. Its the nature of the internet. Something original and clever is done. It is copied successfully by a few. Then every idiot who has only just worked out how to use a keyboard begins copying it without understanding whats going on.

I blame 4chan.

No, not this time; this is a flagrantly hypocritical double standard used to punish men while ignoring the destructive behavior of women. On this issue, women should be held accountable.

The “South Park” episode, “Miss Teacher Bangs a Boy” is the best spoof of the double standard.

Niiiiiiiiice.

Are these responsible mothers or overgrown teenage girls?

And the irony is that while a 37 year old man might be able to support an entire brood spawned for him by a 17 year old girl, a 17 year old boy knocking up a 37 year old woman is likely to produce welfare dependency and criminality in 99 cases out of 100.
