I’m not so hungover as to not notice that Bob Belvedere of The Camp of the Saints is blogging at a new address:

http://thecampofthesaints.wordpress.com/

And if you can’t wait until Sunday for your obligatory pic of a hot chick, Mr. Belvedere has a nice collection of Ann Sheridan snaps right here.

Speaking of Rule 5 and other bloggers who’ve caught the WordPress fever, Robert Stacy McCain is also at a newer, sexier URL:

http://theothermccain.com/

Send him and Smitty my regards.

How is running wordpress on a separate host working out for you, FB? I have been thinking about doing that except that a domain registration gives my haters another way to identify me (even though I see from the whois record for inmalafide.com that your name is hidden). I was thinking about using baywords (which is The Pirate Bay’s equivalent to wordpress.com), but it suffers from the same problem as hosting your blog on wordpress.com in that your ability to design your blog the way you want it is very limited.

Beautifully. Had some trouble with optimizing the site’s speed early on, but all the kinks are ironed out. My biggest problems were the result of system-wide failures that took down everything on the DreamHost network, but there haven’t been any incidents like that recently.

If you want WHOIS privacy, go with DreamHost – they’re the only provider I know of that offers privacy and is WordPress-compatible.

Thanks for noticing and for the linky love, FB. I still have some kinks to work out, but, then again, I always have.
