For the record, I believe that Gilly is one of the cutest chicks in American politics (admittedly not a huge accomplishment), and she’s arguably better looking then everyone’s favorite GOP fap fantasy figure, Sarah Palin. So, I put this question up to the studio audience: Kirsten Gillibrand – Would You Hit It?

I guess it depends on what she looks like now. If she still looks like the picture you post, then sure I’d hit it. But if she looks like the fat monster in the link below, then I’d only hit it with some mountain climbing gear because thats one big massif of fat.

I’m with TFHon this one, Ferdi. I can’t speak for him in terms of his motivations, but for me as a Black Man, I have a different aesthetic that has to be satisfied, and I don’t find the lady you posted to do the trick. She’s not ugly, just not a head turner for me, I’d view her as just another White lady walking along.
Sarah Palin is hot, though, I freely admit that. One of the relatively few White gals I’d hit if I had the chance.

Yecch. M. de Bruxelles makes a strong point. Forgetting for a moment that I saw that, based on the picture you posted she’s much more girl-next-door appealing to me than SP. Also, SP’s horrible nasal accent is something of a woodkiller. However, I think SP is objectively a more attractive woman.
I am slightly embarrassed to be spending time typing in these observations. I am 48 years old, fer crissake.
She’d do in a pinch but there is a big difference between “I’d hit it” and “She’s hot”. Sometimes I eat a Big Mac because it’s cheap, quick and easy. I’d never get a Big Mac mixed up with a nice, juicy steak tho.
She’s better than what I’m hitting now.
I find Sarah Palin extremely unattractive. She’s just a symbol of white, suburban mediocrity to me. Icky icky icky.
Michelle Obama, on the other hand, is stunning. She’s not “hot” in the way a 25-year-old woman would be, but she’s a beautiful woman. I’ll be thrilled if I marry a woman like her, who ages the way she does.

I admit that she being in politics immediately makes my skin crawl.
On some objective level maybe she’s about as attractive as Sarah Palin. What Palin has though is a brightness and vitality that is extremely attractive, to normal people anyway. The SWPL left seems to appreciate a kind of Vulcan like emotional distance, or an ironic distance, in people of both sexes, and maybe this is why they like Obama so much.

i’m not responding to the poll for one reason: it doesn’t capture the true essence of her attractiveness. i’d hit it repeatedly, but that isn’t saying much. i’d hit it partly to say i banged a Congresswoman, and partly because she squeeks by on the attractiveness scale.
But, i’ll just have to say, she’s not all that. She’s not hot enough to assume that most men would hit it and then be surprised when they don’t find her that hot. No offense.
BUT your point that conservative chicks are hotter in general than libs (at least in the political realm) is completely true.

I think that picture was from when she was pregnant. She seems to have slimmed down since then.

This isn’t one of Roissy’s scientific female beauty posts: the question was “Would you hit it?” All else being equal, the bar for what the average guy will hit is very, very low (despite what they claim).
And I don’t think she’s “all that” on an objective metric, but she beats ninety percent of women in her age bracket, for sure.

The in politics disqualifier is a huge one. Being one of the hotter women in politics (which she is) isn’t saying much.
Plus, we haven’t seen her body much, so there is insufficient information to compare her to Sarah Palin in this regard (who has an impressively well-defined ass given her age and 5 deliveries).

GACK!! Did you see her while greeting Berlusconi (pics on Roissy’s)? The word that came to mind was ‘Giganta’.
Condi Rice has a bad face, but having met her in person, I can say that her body is in impressive shape for a woman of 55.
Let me post this superb picture again for good measure.
The sample size is too large, and the gap too vast, for the observation to be dismissed as selection bias.
Women who merely parrot the minimum fashionable lefty opinion (i.e. 23 year old starlets) do not count. We are counting only those with some serious involvement in politics.
I’ll be thrilled if I marry a woman like her, who ages the way she does.
All colored women have skin that lasts about 15 years longer than a white women, so that alone is not a rarity .
That is why Salma Hayek and Halle Berry have careers at an age where you don’t see tool many white women still considered to be ‘beautiful’.
But there are MANY, MANY, MANY black women much better looking than ‘Giganta’ Michelle Obama.
That’s why it’s interesting when you add “would you trust her with your kids and finances” to that question. Suddenly it smashes the bell curve into a squiggly pattern. Imagine if Theseus had been also been asked “and would you go to war and lose your future crown” when asked “would you hit that” about Helen.
She was even hotter when she was younger — I had her as a poli sci professor for a few classes back in the 80s, when she was in her early 30s. She was very attractive.
In the poll, Ms. Gillebrand is not getting the love….
However, my quibble with Ferds on Gillebrand vs. Palin is TINY, TINY compared to my still-fresh GACK reaction to Cless Alvein saying that Michelle ‘Giganta’ Obama is ‘stunning’.
I don’t think I can ever look at Cless the same way again.
