DGL has set up a new blog entitled Beta Revolution, “geared towards the practical steps to immentize our vision of order.” Check it out – it has the official In Mala Fide stamp of approval.

Once a beta, always a beta. That is your place in society and no amount of huffing and puffing will move you up the social ladder.

thanks for the plug.

sparky, perhaps you should read my latest post containing a section on “the vicarious alpha pose”. you should also open your mind to alternate definitions of terms.

A man’s plac ein the social pecking order can, and does, shift. Of his own initiative. Proof for this is how much sheer energy needs to be expended in order to maintain social hiearchies. And how, in open societies, these hiearchies become flatter. There is still a pecking order, and will always be a pecking order, but one’s place in that pecking order can be adjusted but acquiring skills and cultivating oneself.

This was once fairly common knowledge, the myopia or modern commentators, deluded by a misunderstanding of a theoretical biological determinism, is simply staggering.

This is the purpose of a male role model, how many weak 90 lbs boys were inspired by Henry Rollins to take up iron and turn their bitterness and anger into something useful? Hell, Henry Rollins was the definition of a Beta male in high school.

I am looking at things on both the level of social dominance and in a sexual / marital marketplace. For the most part, men simply need to find their testicles and refuse to put up with certain things. Learning more about female psychology and courtship and managing a relationship are skills that can be acquired, but for the most part…

Our generation really only needs to grow a pair.

“Mind your place in society” is an admonition coming from one who wants to maintain a certain order. This is fine, but I am free to disregard it. Because of my experience that not minding my place frequently – more often than not – can get me into places where I want to be.

Smoke and mirrors gentlemen.
