Ampersand, a male feminist (which is like being a Jewish Nazi) blogger, has linked and quoted me as an example of extremist MRA/anti-feminist/pick-up artist views on the George Sodini affair. Ampersand, being the good leftist that he is, apparently has nothing better to do then read blog posts and comments that offend him and raise his blood pressure. This was the passage that got the poor man’s knickers in a knot:

And of course, Ampersand doesn’t bother to refute or challenge any of my arguments – he simply condemns me with the blissful ignorance of a true religious fanatic. That said, he’s not really a hater since he didn’t bother to write any words addressing me, beyond tossing me in the bonfire with all the other witches.
Not only that, commenter MMWW also drew Ampersand’s feeble ire:

Some of them truly are offensive, such as Arpagus’ insane assertions that Sodini is an MRA hero and that men should use rape as a weapon against feminists. However, here are a few comments that I think rank as positively innocuous:

Believe it or not, there is a such thing as a noble traitor. For instance, Brutus’ betrayal of Caesar was the result of his high ideals and his love of his country. Ampersand and his ilk are not in that category. I’d compare him to Judas, but that would be giving him far too much credit. He’s a bottom-feeder, the sort of vermin that isn’t worth the energy it takes to hate. That said, he is reading blogs like mine and Roissy’s, so there may be hope for him yet. The first step to fixing your problem is admitting that you have one.

Very very few of us are glad that whats-his-face shot up a roomful of aerobicizing women.
Yet I think there is a great many folks who have a perspective wider than the feed bag placed in front of their mouths that a world which, by design, creates hordes of uninvested men, is just asking for trouble like this. It’s more “I tole you so”, rather than “yay!”.
The fembot solution is to eliminate all the men or suppress them to the point that they can’t act out in this way. I wouldn’t put the former past them if it were technologically possible, and the governments are increasingly unable to do the latter in the new age of networked societies (as opposed to vertical institutions or market-based societies) and global communication.

What this Sodini guy did was an atrocity, but when the causative agents behind it are ignored, then that just promulgates a different kind of evil. Specifically, it denies people who need help any kind of recourse besides the ineffectual brainwashing that passes for treatment and help.

This guy didn’t get laid precisely because he was a low status nice guy (beta male) who did NOT feel entitled or worthy of women’s sexual attention. High status men (alpha males, bad boys) feel entitled to sex – and women give them as much pussy as they want. Also, women are entitled to sex. Even the ugliest and poorest women can get laid as much as they want.
In the mating market we are all objects/propery/commodities. Women view men as success objects (feminists conveniently leave this part out of their analysis of objectification) and men view women as sex objects. Women’s reproductive and sexual capacity will always be “owned” by one group of men or the other – it is a zero sum game. Under a more fair system the women would be shared more equally among all of the men. Due to evolutionary hardwiring, when women have unrestrained choice (as they do under feminism) they will always “choose” to be “owned” by alphas, thus leaving the masses of betas with little or nothing. Such a situation (de facto polygyny) will always result in social instability and violence, as men are hardwired to destroy any system which would eliminate their genes from the gene pool symbolically (denied casual sex) or actually (denied a wife or girlfriend to have children with).

2) I did not advocate murder. (Re-)read my post. What I said is that in a system that creates a significant number of sexual losers, a minority of said losers may snap and go postal, and that this risk cannot be eliminated without reducing the number of losers. Saying that something is happening or going to happen is not the same as saying that it should or deserves to happen.

So beliefs have no way to influence the world yet “men are hardwired to destroy any system which would eliminate their genes from the gene pool symbolically (denied casual sex)…” Now how would symbological sex serve as a salve for those shorn of status? Why would casual sex somehow sublimate the tension if the system was still denying them in the end? Anything less than reproduction should stoke the fires of resentment ever more but it seems that a belief in the symbolic is sufficient to douse them.

I don’t hate women. I especially don’t hate feminist women, largely because they’re such easy lays – if you have game, that is. Reporting that feminist women are both tougher than the average woman and prefer manlier-than-average men as a result does not mean I hate women, anymore than saying “Jim Crow laws oppressed black people” makes me a racist.
And whether or not feminists hate men is immaterial. What matters is not what they think or say, but what they support and do – and what they support and do is harmful to men and women.

That only happens in jurisdictions where prostitution is criminalized. In places where prostitution is legal, such as Amsterdam or rural Nevada, prostitutes are no more at risk than other workers. That, and prostitutes aren’t stupid – they know the dangers of their profession.
Women are behind most of the violence in the world because they only want dominant alpha males so males are forced to fight/die for status in order to get sex. Not only do they fail to grasp the real issue (massive non-investment in society by men outside the nuclear family) but have a one-size-fits all answer: shaming and moral preening which works at the bar and women’s studies group, but fails everywhere else.
