Linkage is Good for You: Premature Congratulations Edition

As of this writing (Saturday afternoon), In Mala Fide is on Google Page 9 for “vajazzled” and Page 11 for “vajazzle.” I didn’t even rank before, so our efforts are not for naught. Because I’ll be out of the house for the rest of the night (and will likely be incapacitated for a good chunk of tomorrow), I’m holding off on the victory lap until I can re-assess the situation. Rest assured, associate vajazzlers, your sacrifices will not go unappreciated.

  1. Snark says:

Thank God I made the grade this week. I’ll add something about vajazzle soon.

  2. Paul Elam says:

As usual, I am late on the uptake. I had to go back and read the original. So, Ok, here goes, time to get my vajazzle on at A Voice for men.

  3. SDaedalus says:

    Thanks Ferdinand, much appreciated!

  4. JM Kaye says:

    Thankee for the linkee!

  5. Roosh says:

Hey did your RSS feed break? It only shows a few lines and then you have to click over and load a new window to read the rest.

  6. Roosh:

That was intentional, so I could publish my posts over at Facebook without discouraging people from visiting the main blog. Since I figured out how to republish my Tweets on Facebook, I went in and changed the feed back.

  7. Matt Savage says:

It may take awhile for Google to thoroughly crawl all the “vajazzled” links to your site, so you might not see the bump you are looking for like a week or so, but I’m sure in the long run you’ll be much higher than page 7.

Out of curiosity I checked my own rankings for the word “vajazzling” and am currently at #48 in my data center, not too shabby for a quick post like that.

And of course, thanks for the link love.

  8. Susan Walsh says:

Ferdinand, wow, I have made the grade three weeks running! I sincerely appreciate the link – it gives me a nice bump on Mondays :-) I’ve also appreciated being pointed to great posts by others. I know it takes a while to assemble all of this and post it, so thanks for that effort.

  9. fsharp says:

Well done to the vajazzle-sphere. Page 1 for vajazzle and 3 for vajazzled.

  10. You’ll get there. It took me time to rise on the Hannah Giles bomb and I’m still getting hits off of it over a half year later.

  11. Snark says:

Haha YES! Ferdinand is now page 1 on Google for ‘vajazzle’.

What more can we do to get him to the top link?
