I imagine by now you’ve all read this featured article on modern dating, relationships, and game from The Weekly Standard, as MarkyMark, Obsidian, and Elusive Wapiti have all linked to it. It’s especially noteworthy because none other than the likes of Roissy, F. Roger Devlin, and Alias Clio were interviewed in it. (Somewhere in Miami, Tupac Chopra is rocking his chair back and forth and howling like a wolf in heat.) This is a Very Big Deal because, as Obsidian writes:

Whatever one says about game, it wouldn’t be so popular if it didn’t work so well.
I kinda look at game like studded snow tires in a blizzard. Right now it’s snowing in our society, and game is the tool needed to maneuver around.
Thus we shouldn’t be wasting time criticizing the tool, when we should be criticizing the weather instead.
You guys need to create some new term besides Game for this social and political movement you have going on that mixes suduction community, HBD and anti-leftism. Game should be reserved for strictly seduction community and dating advice domain. It’s kind of annoying for those of us who just want to have fun and date to see a group of people hijack the term into something very different.

This is becoming an issue that threatens the survival of the nation state. Fertility in the United States is sub-replacement. The only reason we are growing is because of immigration, and this is resulting in a less education population. (the number one predictors of a child’s education level is the parents’ education level) So the political class is starting to wise up that all of the social engineering is having profoundly negative consequences or society. My personal curiosity, and there is no way to know for sure, is how much the current change away from monogamy is driven not by social engineering, but by declining health. The percentage of men who are healthy today is much smaller than one hundred, or even sixty years ago. Perhaps more factors are at play that we normally discuss?

“Game” denotes one aspect of the masculine persona. Only one.
Pussy is great, but there is so much more life has to offer. If we are to fulfill the role nature asks of our gender. Really. I realize that’s not the most endearing sentiment, but it must be kept in mind.
We need a larger and grander term, name, an umbrella concept of sorts (of which Game is one aspect).
Today’s man sorely needs to learn the elements of masculinization and for that I believe Game has served well.
I only hope that Game is the launching pad by which young men learn to eventually “man up.” I don’t want to see it become some glib tool that a bunch of morons use just to get laid and then discarded without further consideration.

Personally I see all men who immerse themselves in the tenets of “game” as no different than those who have taken up martyrdom in the form of suicide bombing for their preferred ideology.
Game provides no incentive and yields nothing of value to me, at least in the most extreme sense of the culture.
Admittedly I do seem to have an inclination towards the “Renfield moral/cultural aesthetic”, although there’s a hefty dose of practicality thrown in for good measure.
I wholeheartedly concur that western society as a result of the sexual revoultion is now swirling the drain like so much frothy shampoo, and while I lament being born a few decades too late to even entertain the idea of a monogamous relationship with anything but post-feminist roadkill – that doesn’t mean I’ve completely lost all concept of my masculinity.
While I may want nothing to do with game on the grounds that it serves little benefit to me, I do cheer on from the sidelines those “suicide bombers”, as they utterly decimate the slutting and whoring feminist hordes.
